Logos

Chelsea Roff is the founder and director of this amazing non-profit organization. She wanted a logo that was square, bold & strong, and included black and red. Their core principles are: Embodiment, Community, and Service. When the logo was complete Chelsea wrote, "You are AMAZING. Thank you again. I really am thrilled - not just saying that. I feel like this collaboration came together so synchronistically, and every person on my team has sent me personal emails to say (Kim is amazing! We like her!)".

This amazing project was started by two young mothers fighting breast cancer. They each have small children. When they could not find a story to read to their children to explain why mommy was sick, they each wrote their own. Now they've started the Storybook Project to help other moms with breast cancer write their own storybook to read to their kids. I was honored to create this logo to support their project.

An existing custom cabinet business gave me the challenge of creating a new logo that incorporated the owners much loved chrome. I used wood texture and a dovetailed joint to reference the high end custom cabinetry for which the the business is known.

Ultimate Window Cleaning wanted a memorable logo using their initials. Clean, simple, and unique.

Initial draft of logos for a bicycle shop. The owner wanted the logo to be similar to the logo for his car stereo installation shop named Audiowerks. His wife also wanted a kid friendly version.

An independent elementary school needed a logo. They wanted their 17 acre wooded campus to be represented. The maple tree is native to their area and the swing evokes the school's emphasis on outdoor learning.

Logo created for a local film festival.

A small children's activity center needed a quick logo creation.

Description

Creating a logo is a delicate process. Successfully branding a business takes time. My job is to engage the client in the process by focusing their energy on how they want their customers to perceive their business. It’s important to prevent my clients from becoming distracted by the colors and fonts they personally prefer. A versatile logo that has longevity is a beautiful thing.
